Free-roaming stealth game set in a timeless era
Thief 3: Deadly Shadows is the third installment of the stealth-based Thief series, published by Eidos. This game is renowned in the series for introducing a free-roam aspect, which adds greatly to the gameplay experience. Thief 3: Deadly Shadows also utilises an entirely new game engine, thus meaning that the game has a fully 'new' feel attached to it. Combining first and third-person elements, Thief 3: Deadly Shadows was given high praise by critics in the industry, but a further sequel was never developed after the game failed to hit lofty financial targets.
